Our mission is to provide an exceptional tasting experience for our customers. After enjoying our Colombian exotic series for almost 6 months, we're excited to end it with the finale release of Ombligon.
The name "Ombligon" comes from the bean's elongated shape and a nodule on its base that looks like a belly button.
The introduction of the Ombligon variety by Jack Simpson and his team at the World Barista Championship in Athens left the industry surprised.
What stood out the most in Jack's routine was the choice of coffee for his espresso presenta tion, which perfectly aligned with the vision he brought to the stage: the Ombligon variety from Finca El Diviso in Colombia.
It was the best-tasting and highest-scoring coffee among the hundreds of samples they had tried.
Jack's competition routine emphasized the vital role of baristas in continually innovating, refining, and adapting to the ever-evolving coffee landscape.
Jack performed exceptionally well with his techniques and equipment, approaching the art of coffee-making. His routine showcased technical skill, presentation, comprising three distinct coffee creations: an espresso, a milk-based coffee, and a coffee-based signature drink that featured Ombligon.
