Layio washing station sits high up on a hill in Guji (Uraga), at 1900 to 2000 meters above sea
level. The sun shines brightly there, and cool winds blow down the slopes. Imagine coffee
cherries growing in this perfect spot, surrounded by nature.
These special beans come from small farms that are mixed in with semi-forests and gardens.
The coffee is washed in clean channels and sorted by how heavy the beans are. Only the
heaviest beans, which are the best quality, are kept.
The result ? Subtle floral notes with refreshing bergamot. A crisp sip with juicy nectarine,
